‘Up your level first’: Chelsea supporter fumes at one player as Chalobah own goal gift Bayern the lead

Chelsea Trail Bayern Munich After Trevoh Chalobah Own Goal in Champions League Clash

Chelsea’s Champions League night in Munich got off to a nightmare start as Trevoh Chalobah scored an own goal to hand Bayern Munich an early advantage.

The Blues switched off during a Bayern set-piece, leaving Michael Olise with far too much space to deliver a dangerous cross into the box. Chalobah, caught in the wrong position, couldn’t do much to prevent the ball from deflecting into his own net.

While the defender was unlucky, not all fans are pointing the finger at him. Instead, frustration has turned toward Tosin Adarabioyo.

One frustrated Chelsea supporter, CFCCentral, took to X (formerly Twitter) to vent:
👉 “Tosin complaining that Cucurella put him off the clearance. Brother, you’ve been at fault for two goals in two games — up your level first.”

The criticism reflects the growing pressure on Chelsea’s backline, which has looked vulnerable in recent weeks. With Bayern boasting attacking threats like Harry Kane and Jamal Musiala, the Blues cannot afford more lapses in concentration.

As it stands, Chelsea face a huge uphill battle to mount a comeback in Munich and keep their Champions League hopes alive.
