Arsenal Boss Mikel Arteta Gives Update on Bukayo Saka’s Contract Talks
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has opened up about the club’s ongoing contract negotiations and the commitment shown by key players, including star winger Bukayo Saka.
When asked about updates on Saka’s new deal, Arteta responded with optimism:
“I would love that. From everything I know, he’s extremely happy and proud to be here and to have the role he has at the football club. Things will develop in a natural way, like they always do. Everyone knows how important Bukayo is for us, so hopefully we can make it happen.”
The Arsenal head coach also praised the club’s success in tying down other top talents such as William Saliba, Gabriel, Ethan Nwaneri, and Myles Lewis-Skelly.
“I’m extremely happy. Every time I sit with a player and we talk with the club about their future, the first thing they say is that they want to stay, they want to win with us, and they want to keep growing here. That’s not something we take for granted—it shows the club is doing things right and making both players and staff feel valued.”
With Saka seen as the face of Arsenal’s future, securing his long-term commitment will be a major boost for the Gunners as they continue to build towards silverware.
